Over 30 Years of Safe and Detailed Cleaning
The story of Comstock's Cleaning Service began in 1981 when my father started a humble cleaning business with just a mop and a bucket. One day, a restaurant owner asked if he could clean their kitchen hood. He climbed up without hesitation and cleaned it by hand. This simple act marked the birth of the Grease Busters. A fun tidbit about the "Grease Busters", the name came about around the time the movie Ghostbusters hit theaters. The logo was playful and lighthearted, but it stuck! To this day, you'll find it proudly displayed on our business cards and even on the billboard mounted on our work trailer.
Growing Up in the Trade
As a young boy, I often accompanied my dad to work. With three sisters at home, my mom was more than happy to have me tag along with him. I grew up working alongside my dad in restaurants across Vermont and New Hampshire, learning the trade and witnessing his dedication to ensuring every customer was happy-because to him, the customer was always right. Those long hours taught me the value of hard work and the importance of my customers, whose trust and support make everything I do possible.
Built on Pride and Partnership
I take immense pride in my small family business, where my wife-my best friend and dedicated secretary-serves as my indispensable right-hand. She expertly manages the office side of our S Corp, ensuring everything runs smoothly and allowing me to continue delivering the quality and care my customers expect.
